The Bee’s Tease
My friend Johnny Livanos, creator of one of the first Greek gins, Stray Dog – and, yes, you can really taste the nuanced spectrum of Greek herbs that he uses in his distillation process – created this cocktail for his family’s restaurant Ousia. Ring in the New Year with a clink and have a sip for me!
- 1 1/2 oz Stray Dog Wild Gin
- 1/2 oz Verino Mastiha Antica or any Mastiha liqueur
- 1/2 oz Greek Honey
- 1 oz Lemon Juice
- Spritz of rose water
Shake everything together, strain into a glass filled with crushed ice, and garnish with a spritz of Greek rose water. Sip away!
