Pear Crostini with Mashed Feta and Greek Honey

Have you ever tried pears, feta and honey?   1. Preheat the broiler. Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and drizzle with a little olive oil. Broil them, turning once, until lightly golden on both sides. Remove and cool for a few minutes.
  2. Mash the feta with the pepper, oregano, and a little olive oil.
  3. Mound the feta evenly over the toasted bread and top with a few pear slices. Drizzle with a little honey and place back under the broiler for a few minutes. Remove, drizzle with additional honey, sprinkle with pink peppercorns or crumbled nuts, garnish with mint and serve.
